Alevtina Ignatyeva
Biography
Alevtina Ignatyeva is a multi-faceted and gifted painter. She revealed her talent for drawing already in her childhood.
The main subjects of her works are landscapes, cityscapes, still lives, genre scenes and flowers. Mostly she works in oil on canvas but she does have some watercolors in her earlier period.
Born:1936, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Education: The St. Petersburg College (1963), BS.
Profession: Engineer, Bridges & Tunnels
In the USA: since 1978. In this country, she worked in Grossman Steel Building Co. in New York.
In general, she took part in over fifty sixth shows in New Jersey, New York, Russia.
Her first exhibition, “Millenniya: Fifth Annual Women’s Show”, in the CASE Museum of Contemporary Russian Art held in March 2000 where she presented six works of art.
