Shlomo Bronshtein

Shlomo Bronshtein:

I was born in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. The first time I held a camera was while I was a student in school. After graduating school in 1979, I went to a course in professional photography. Meanwhile I was studying in the University of Tashkent in the faculty of journalism. I graduated University in 1985 and at that time my photographs and articles were published in the local newspapers. After graduating I started working as journalist for the newspaper “vicherni Tashkent” (Tashkent in the evening). All of my publications included photographs in them.

In 1992 I immigrated to Israel, and there I continued working as a journalist in both the written press and the electronic press.

In 2010 I changed direction and decided to engage in artistic photography. Here is a link to some of the works I have done over the past few years:
