Violetta Livshen

 

Biography:

Violetta Livshen is an artist and interior designer. Born in Odessa, Ukraine, she lives and works in New York since 1989. From 2010 she represented by Russian Contemporary Art Gallery in New York City. Violetta’s work was part of the many exhibitions in New York. She participated in the Art EXPO Show and Exhibition.

Violeta’s early exhibitions included oil paintings Her other works are intersections of art, fashion and interior design. She creates work which questions “the relationship between a work of art, its viewer and the so-called real space in which both are ‘confronted.

Education.

She started draw from the very early edge. Only at 8 she become bronze finalist in

Odessa Yang Artist competition. At 11 she became student of Odessa Art school.

In 1978, she became student of Grekov Academy of Art in Odessa, Ukraine with meager in Fine Art. Her teacher in art was famous artist Dmitry Egorov. She successfully graduated in 1982.

Then she became student of college named after Ushinsky with meager in Architecture.

Which she graduated with Master’s degree in Fine Arts and Architecture.

Violetta studied fashion at Fashion Institute of Technology and Fashion Academy.

Family.

From 1983 she marred to Gregory Livshen.  Thea son Eugene was born in Ukraine an at edge of 5 his preens emigrated to United States, when he was 5 years old. Family became live in Brooklyn, NY.

Carrera.

Violeta has started work in Fashion industry as a dressmaker. Sowing was her passion from the early edge. After she graduated from Fashion Academy, she worked as a patternmaker in the few fashion companies, including famous American designer Arnold Skassy.

All those years, she never left an idea to make a name in the Fine Art. In 2002, she started work as Interior Decorator in the Constriction company. From 2000 she created her own interior designer company “Magic Interior”. From 2006 she became Host and Designer of the TV project “Magic Interior.”

Parallel to this she started participating in the Art Exhibitions in New York.

From 2010 she represented by Russian Contemporary Art Gallery in New York City. Violetta’s work become part of the important exhibitions in New York. From 1915 she become annual participant in the Art EXPO Show and Exhibition and Russion Museum of Art – MORA.
